Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American model, singer and songwriter. Her best-known work is playing 'Blair Waldorf,' in the tv drama "Gossip Girl." Her career in acting began as an elementary school girl. The actress began her acting career when she was a young girl after having appeared in a stage production in the local community of "Wizard of Oz". At first the career of her choice, she took on roles through advertisements and modeling. For modeling projects, she has worked with major brands, including 'Herbal Essences'"Vera Wang,' 'Jimmy Choo,' and 'Ralph Lauren.' It began her career as a model before moving into the world of acting. She started her career as model, however later became an actor. She's recorded and written songs with notable artists like 'Cobra Starship and' Robin Thicke and others. She has been featured by Billboard as "Top Songs of the Year." Leighton Meester has also delivered an Broadway show in the stage production of 'Of Mice & Men.
